Supporting PTSD Through Our Love of ATVs

Our 501(c)(3) organization is dedicated to alleviating the impact of PTSD by harnessing the therapeutic power of dirt bikes and ATVs. We strive to provide support, camaraderie, and healing experiences for individuals affected by PTSD, fostering a community where the thrill of off-road adventures becomes a catalyst for mental well-being and recovery.

Packing Bags for our Veterans

Here we are with the Military Mothers and Friends packing boxes to send to our Service men and women. These boxes contain necessities such as shampoo, toothpaste, chapstick, snacks, and of course some beef jerky!

Parades

When Veteran Specific Holidays come around, we are the first to get out and raise awareness. Supporters and members of the community band together and participate for the sake of our beloved veterans!

Sending Veterans on Adventures

We have been blessed with the ability to send a local disabled Veteran to the famous Hatfield McCoy trail system. We have also had the privilege to send a Veteran to Moab Utah for dual-sport dirt bike riding!

  • Approximately 11-20% of military veterans who served in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom experience PTSD in a given year. The impact of combat exposure can have lasting effects on mental health, emphasizing the critical need for support and resources.

  • PTSD is not confined to veterans or specific regions. It can affect anyone who has experienced trauma, including survivors of natural disasters, accidents, or interpersonal violence. It is even common in first responders. The global reach of PTSD highlights the importance of awareness and mental health issues on a broader scale

  • Emerging research suggests that engaging in outdoor activities, such as the off-road adventures our organization promotes, can be a powerful therapeutic tool for individuals with PTSD. The adrenaline, camaraderie, and connection with nature inherent in such activities contribute positively to mental well-being, offering an alternative approach to traditional forms of therapy.
